Does you disposal get gunked up?
Maybe, it is not running as smoothly as you would like?
So was mine!!! Until I tried these.
Ingredients:
1 Orange/lime/lemon/grapefruit White Distilled Vinegar
Cut your citrus into small enough of chunks to fit into the ice cube tray.
Fill the ice cube tray with your cut up citrus and vinegar: Freeze.
Once they are frozen, add the cubes to a zip lock bag and make another batch.
Trust me you will want a gallon size freezer bag of these. They are addicting.
Every time you run your disposal (or every few times) throw a handful of your citrus cubes into the disposal with running, luke warm water. (not to warm, you do not want to melt the cubes.)
This is one of my TOP FAVORITE. This recipe took my disposal from junk yard, to almost Brand NEW!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!
*Do not throw away any slightly rotten or over ripe citrus. Use them for this. They are going into the disposal anyways. You can also use just the peels if you have extras from making another recipe.
**The citrus will help de-grease and de-gunk your disposal. The vinegar helps to remove limescale build up as well as de-grease. The vinegar cube helps to loosen up and break up and stuck on foods. Together this little disposal cube is a mean, lean, grease-fighting machine.
